Our Small Crown Navy Beret is very high quality made from 100% wool. The beret is banded with a soft black leather and a draw string and bow. The inside is a mid-blue silk lining.
The berets we stock are the “Small Crown” variant – the widest part of the beret measures 9″ across. The standard Ministry of Defence version measures 10 inches to 10.5 inches. Having less material on the Small Crown Navy Beret makes shaping the beret easier and you are able to achieve a more polished look.
The Navy Blue berets are all manufactured to meet and exceed current UK MoD specifications.
To measure your head size you will need a flexible measuring tape. Place the tape around your head with the tape just above the top of your ears, wrap the tape around head making sure the tape lies just above your occipital bone (the small bump in the middle of the back of the head), do not pull the tape too tightly. Repeat this two or three times to make sure the measurement is accurate.
